2. What types of traffic
will Express Data accelerate?
Express Data will accelerate web browsing,
web-based file transfers, uploading and downloading of all
native FTP file transfers, and all types of email from simple
web-based email systems like Hotmail and Yahoo Mail to POP3 and
SMTP based email systems such as Microsoft Outlook®, Microsoft
Outlook Express® and Microsoft Exchange®. Additionally, email
attachments including Microsoft PowerPoint®, Microsoft® Word,
Microsoft® Excel and others will also be accelerated.

begin using Express Data with Globalstar service?

Data Cost?
Express Data is a FREE subscription-based service
included at no additional cost in most of Globalstar's current
airtime price plans. Express Data is FREE to customers on
the following price plans:

6. Is Express Data
difficult to install?
Not at all... Express Data software can be
installed from the Globalstar Data Kit CD or
online. An easy-to-follow installation wizard will take you
through the entire set-up process. If you have any problems, you
can contact
Globalstar Customer Care for further assistance. To purchase
a Globalstar Data Kit, find your local
Globalstar Authorized Dealer.

7. How do I subscribe to
Express Data?
Once you have Express Data installed on your PC,
a registration wizard will appear and guide you through the
simple process.

8. How do I keep my copy
of Express Data current?
With Express Data, your software is always
current. That's because it is self-updating. Each day when you
first start Express Data, it will check to see if any updates
and new features are available. If there are, you will be asked
if you want to upgrade your product at this time. If you say
yes, the updates and new features will be applied. If you
decline, you can always go to the "Automatic Updates" screen in
the product at a later time and ask for them to be applied.

9. If I already have a
data compression service, what do I do?
If you already have data compression installed on
your laptop, you must delete all existing files related to that
software before downloading the Express Data software. You can
call Globalstar Customer care at 1.877.452.5782 if you require
assistance with this process.

questions or problems, what do I do?

11. How do I
deactivate Express Data?
Call Globalstar Customer Care (1.877.452.5782) to
deactivate the service and ensure you are no longer billed for
Express Data service. Please have your Express Data serial
number and/or your Globalstar account number or satellite phone
number on hand so Globalstar Customer Care can provide the
quickest service.

connection you will need to terminate your current Globalstar
data session and re-initialize the Globalstar data connection.
