ENCRYPTION COMES TO PSN SERVICE Globalkey, Inc. and Personal Satellite Network, Inc. have signed a marketing agreement that will bring an encryption capability to our two-way satellite messaging service. Globalkey's 256-bit encryption technology will allow secure transmission of the most sensitive information. Data such as credit card numbers, financial information, law enforcement files and medical records may be safely sent from our T-100 Portable Satellite Station using Globalkey's encryption system. The T-100 is a briefcase-size unit that carries both a PC and a satellite terminal. The T-100 can be hand carried or mounted in a vehicle. The T-100 connects to the PC using the Globalkey e-mail software and either an RS-232 cable or a wireless RS-232 system. SkyHelp(tm) TRADEMARK AWARDED It's official from the US Trademark office -- PSN now owns the SkyHelp(tm) trademark! SkyHelp(tm) is the 911-like assistance service we will offer both from our hand-held and desktop satellite transceivers. Because timely response will be a critical element of such a service, we will have to wait until the full constellation of Orbcomm satellites is on-line before we make SkyHelp(tm) service available to the general public. Also, because this service will be very useful for speech- and hearing-impaired citizens, we will be applying for grant monies to help fund the staffing of a full-time SkyHelp(tm) facility. (By the way, that Morse code symbols you see under the trademark represent the letters "SOS".) ORBCOMM GLOBAL SOLUTIONS CONFERENCE The Orbcomm Global Solutions Conference will be open to the public on April 1. There is NO CHARGE if you are coming to see the exhibits, especially the PSN exhibit. The conference is being held at the Westfield Conference Center off Route 28 in Chantilly, VA. The hours are 8 AM to 5 PM. Capt. Scott O'Grady, USAF, will speak from 8-9 AM about his experience in Bosnia. More information is at the Orbcomm web site, www.orbcomm.com. See you there
