Satcom Y2K web Sites Y2K compliance of satcom service is a big issue for some folks since they rely on the satcom service as their Y2K contingency plan for their organization. In general, the actual satellites don't use anything that is year sensitive. It is the satellite controlling equipment on the ground that has to be checked, as well as, any subscriber equipment.
