PSN UPDATE 2 August 99 Bonnie Crystal Radio Appearance using PSN Bonnie Crystal is using a PSN Iridium Satellite telephone from PSN on her latest adventure. This is a big deal to me as she will credit PSN with renting her the phone while on the air. Here is the announcement by Jessica Stevens her business partner and publicist, which is much better that anything I can write: As some of you may know, Bonnie Crystal is presently leading a major international caving expedition in the Andes mountains of Peru. Our latest information from the expedition is that major discoveries have been made. Today, I learned from Art Bell that Bonnie will be a featured guest on the "Coast to Coast" Art Bell Show on Tuesday evening, August 3, at 10 PM Pacific Daylight Savings Time (1 AM EDT, 12 Midnight CDT, 11 PM MDT). Bonnie will be talking to Art via a Motorola Iridium Satellite Phone from the 14,000+ foot base camp overlooking the Amazon jungle. As far as we know, this sort of program has never been done before. The Art Bell show is the most popular show in the US on radio today, with a listening audience today of well over 15 million people. Bonnie will update us on the progress of the expedition and, depending upon the dependability of the radio connection, Bonnie and Art may be taking live calls from around the nation. Every major city in the USA has an affiliate carrying the Art Bell show. There are presently 451 stations carrying this program.
