Local cellular companies will charge extra from any long distance charges, so use the satellite phone for calls outside the cellular area. Iridium offer cellular cassettes in GSM-900 and AMPS/NAMPS/CDMA-800. Voice Mail service can be turn on and off per month. Linking an Iridium Pager with your satellite phone has no monthly charge. |
