PSN win in Federal Wireless Contract
PSN teamed with Titan Strategic Services to provide the satellite communications
equipment and service on a Federal Government Wireless contract
(GS06T00BND0942). Titan was the only offerer which even had satellite equipment
on their equipment list, supplied by PSN. George Wilamowski, president of Titan,

Nera M4 Software Upgrade
The instructions for getting and installing the Nera M4 Inmarsat unit's new PPP

serial port on a computer rather than having to use a ISDN ca

Globalstar Service in the North Atlantic
Globalstar is now offering coverage in the North Atlantic, from North America to
Europe. Now sailors will have complete coverage on a trans-Atlantic trip. The

StarBand PSN Pilot Unit Installed
PSN has received a Starband (formally galit-2-home) two-way high speed satellite
dish, it is up a running. The testing is confidential, but the intent of the
system is to offer 500 kbps up and 150 kbps down, always on, with Internet
service to homes and small businesses at a good price. The service will be
available ANYWHERE in the continental US. Commercial service is not expected
till December. PSN has applied for a dealership and w
ill offer the service over the internet.
Globalstar Service in Central America
Although the Central America Gateway for Globalstar will not be
set for roaming for a month or so, PSN has made arrangements for
registering satellite telephones traveling in the Central American
area until roaming service is established. Billing will be arranged

HOT-JUST IN -Orbcomm Special
Orbcomm has announced it is GIVING away 3000 satellite units,
that right the Orbcomm transceiver is free, however, you will need
to buy an antenna, activation and service. The units included are
the KX-7000, KX-7001, and SA-AMR. They must be activated
($45) by 30 November and will be charged $9.99 per month for six-
months in which the new Banded Pricing will take effect. 2500
chars are included each month. Offer ends 30 November or when
all units are "sold".
