GLOBALSTAR(r) TESTING RV Test -- I visited a Recreation Vehicle center last week to see how the Globalstar=AE unit would work inside an RV. It worked well. Of course, it will not work inside a metal enclosure, but since today's RVs are made of fibreglass I was able to get a good signal in most interior areas, including the bathroom. This is good news for RV folks traveling in areas not covered by cellular service. The fibreglass roof test results should apply to sailboats, too. |
