Iridium Offers Suspension Service Iridium now offers suspended service for only $10 per month. This allows you to keep the account open and retain the telephone number, but you can not make any calls. This feature is good if you will not be using the phone for a month or more. You can keep the same phone number and avoid an activation fee when you wish to begin active service again. Iridium 9505 Upgrade Now that the inventory of used Motorola 9500 units are all sold out, you can get top dollar when you trade your old 9500 for a new 9505. Why upgrade? The 9505 has small size, longer battery life, water resistant and accepts a standard cellular headset. Upgrade to a used 9505 and save hundreds of dollars. Iridium Kyrocera Phone Deal We have a few old Kyrocera Single Mode Satellite telephones for only $400 each. The set includes; handset, battery, power cord, and carry case. They are tested before shipment but are sold as-is. Kyrocera is no longer in the Iridium phone business, so plan on using external power for the units at some point. This will allow your friends and family to dial an 800 number and an operator will take up to a 120-character page to be immediately sent to your Iridium pager or phone. The cost for the service is $1 per page, and there is no monthly fee. External Antennas for Iridium While supplies last, we are offering the external fixed-mount Iridium antenna with up to 50 feet of cable to PSN Iridium customers for only $200. The cost for non-account holders is only $250. This antenna allows you to use your Iridium phone in the comfort of your office, your home, your boat, your cabin, etc. The kit has a low-loss (half- inch) cable for the main run and a 3-foot thin-cable that connects from the cable to your phone. On the other hand, you could buy an OEM Motorola Iridium fixed-mount antenna and 15-meter cable for about $440.
