PSN Dplus tracking in Worrell 1000 PSN provided a Dplus tracking unit for the Tommy Bahamas sailing team in the Worrell 1000 race. It provided tracking information in some very difficult circumstances, being inches off the water and had an aluminum pole above it. Not that we aided their 4th place finish, that was due to sailing skill and winds, but we did help their web page get thousands of hits as folks kept track of them in the race. See some of the coverage; www.tommybsailing.com A few Iridium 9500 units PSN has come upon a few new Iridium 9500 units, order them quick if you need them as they will not last long. Please sign up on the waiting list so we know who to call when they come in. All old units are refurbished and tested before being resold. Testing Iridium Modems PSN is now testing some Iridium modems, these are true modems and not just phones with data kits. We will publish the results and offer them for sale and activation at $999 (for just one, discounts for larger purchases). They should offer quicker start up times and a lower per minutes cost for iridium internet access. Stay tuned for the test results. New Email Server In July PSN will bring the new email server online. In addition the faster service and better spam protection, it will have web-based mail with our standard email accounts. Now PSN customers will be able to access their mail from anywhere they can find internet access. Kyocera Phone and Accessories We have come onto a complete Kyocera phone with case and accessories, which we will offer for sale and activation. It is the dual mode phone with non-US GSM cell phone. We also have a number of batteries, chargers and other spare accessories for the Kyocera phones. |
