Weather Data Via Satellite

Globalstar® and Iridium® satellite telephones can be used to download weather data from a number of Internet web sites. The best way to find these sites is to use your web browser at home to find the sites you prefer and then save them as bookmarks or favourites. That way you can save airtime by bringing up favourite sites quickly rather than typing in addresses or searching through multiple web pages. Also, always have at least two favourite weather sites ready in case your first choice is busy or down.

Text sites will download much faster than sites with large graphics. Sites with a single picture
will download faster than sites with a weather map and a bunch of ads.
